Trapper Group, a leading communications agency recognized for its innovative solutions and client-first approach, is excited to announce the strategic appointments of Ms. Louise Moo as Group Chief Media Officer and Mr. Devashish Banarjee as Head of Digital. These leadership additions come as part of the agency’s commitment to enhancing its capabilities in response to significant growth in the industry and the evolving needs of its clients.
In a year marked by exceptional growth, Trapper Group has taken deliberate steps to fortify its leadership team, ensuring it is equipped to navigate the complexities of today’s dynamic marketing landscape. With a focus on integrating strong and credible talent, the agency aims to address emerging opportunities and challenges, positioning itself as a formidable challenger brand in the communications sector.
Louise Moo brings a wealth of experience to her new role, with 26 years in the industry and a proven track record of success. Having held leadership positions at prestigious firms such as Zenith China and Carat China, Moo has honed her skills in managing both global and local client portfolios.
Most recently, she served at Starcom Malaysia, where she was responsible for overseeing comprehensive media strategies for Maxis. At Trapper Group, her primary focus will be managing the Malaysia Aviation Group account, where she will optimize client growth, improve operational efficiency, and integrate the diverse offerings of the agency to deliver unparalleled service.
Devashish Banarjee, joining the team as Head of Digital, brings 17 years of specialized expertise in digital marketing strategies and transformative business solutions. His extensive background spans multiple industries and regions, consistently delivering results that redefine benchmarks in the marketing landscape.
In his new role, Banarjee will lead Trapper Group’s digital marketing initiatives, striving to enhance customer engagement, optimize digital channels, and scale client presence across various platforms. His innovative thinking and relentless drive for excellence will be instrumental in keeping the agency at the forefront of industry trends.
As Sivanathan Krishnan, Chairman and Co-founder of Trapper Group, aptly puts it, “As we embody our mantra of ‘The Growth Engineers’, we were highly specific in choosing leaders who have personal ambitions as well as professional ambitions for their clients, who have resilience, aptitude, and attitude in managing top local and global brands.
They needed to be the kind of leaders who understand people algorithms. In this day and age of REEL vs REAL leaders, we want ambitious marketers who can roll up their sleeves and are unafraid to get their hands dirty and yet nurture future leaders.”
Krishnan further emphasizes, “Our aggressive approach toward business development over the last three years has worked well for us and has brought us tremendous success and recognition. It is time now to shift gears and create greater synergies among our internal team members to deliver an even greater degree of excellence to all our clients, current and future.”
The appointments of Moo and Banarjee are expected to accelerate growth and drive further transformation within the agency, reinforcing Trapper Group’s commitment to becoming a client-centric, data-driven organization. By fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration, Trapper Group aims to exceed client expectations and set new standards in the marketing industry.
