The NexGen Show celebrates its 20th episode with a conversation that reminds us why we started this in the first place.
At just six months into her full-time role, brand executive Joy Teng is already gaining sharp insights into the rapidly evolving world of advertising.
“I had the interesting opportunity to work on a rebranding campaign for Gen Z audiences,” she shares. “Being able to learn about their thought process and develop a campaign that would shape the new perception of this brand was very exciting.”
Hosted by Malaysian advertising veteran Prof. Harmandar Singh, The NexGen Show is a non-profit podcast series where young talents talk about their future, fears, and fresh perspectives in a conversational format.
“Writing a brief is not an easy job,” she explains. “I was once told that writing a good and clear brief means that anyone can read it and understand what to do next.”
“Even if that person is my mother,” she adds with a laugh.
