Sime Darby Property has reappointed WPP Media as its integrated media agency of record in Malaysia after a pitch.
The new mandate, effective 16 September 2025, covers all media duties across channels supporting township launches, brand building and demand generation.
The partnership centres on a data and technology driven agenda. The goal is to tie media spend more directly to qualified leads, sell through and transparent reporting using a privacy safe data and AI stack.
According to Arshan Saha, CEO of WPP Media Malaysia, the agency will focus on simplifying the media stack, unifying first party data and modernising measurement to improve effectiveness.
Datuk Lai Shu Wei, Chief Marketing and Sales Officer at Sime Darby Property, said WPP Media was chosen for its strong understanding of the business and its ability to deliver a practical roadmap for data led marketing and efficient activation.
