Fiona Liao is set to deliver at Malaysian CMO Awards Discovery Edition

Fiona Liao is an innovative and forward-thinking marketer with over 25 years of experience. Currently serving as the Group Chief Marketing, Communications, and Sustainability Officer at Pos Malaysia, she has been instrumental in revitalizing the brand since 2022.

Prior to this, she spent over 13 years at Prudential Assurance Malaysia where she led award-winning initiatives like the Gold Effie-winning PRUmy Child campaign and was recognised as one of the 50 Most Talented CMOs at the 2013 World Marketing Summit.

As Pos Malaysia faced challenges during COVID-19 pandemic, Fiona played a pivotal role in repositioning the brand with key campaigns such as Pos Malaysia’s Transformation Story, Pos Malaysia Run, and the introduction of electric vehicles and solar facilities.

Her commitment to sustainability and community engagement has positioned Pos Malaysia as a progressive force in the logistics industry, successfully fostering a positive public perception while contributing to economic growth.

Outside of her corporate achievements, Fiona is a respected thought leader, speaker, and awards jury member for APPIES Malaysia, the Malaysia Effie Awards and the Campaign Asia-Pacific Agency of the Year Awards, further solidifying her influence in the field.

Fiona’s marketing career will be celebrated at the Malaysian CMO Awards 2024 Discovery Edition on April 25 in a special Induction Ceremony at the exclusive Malaysian Petroleum Club, and joined by over 40 celebrated marketing leaders in Malaysia.
