REV Media Group Sdn Bhd, Malaysia’s No. 1 digital publisher, today announced it has completed the full acquisition of The Vocket Sdn Bhd, one of the country’s leading lifestyle and culture platforms. REV Media Group previously held a 52% majority stake in Vocket. With this transaction, the REV Media Group has now acquired the remaining 48% of shares, making Vocket a wholly owned brand under its portfolio.
The acquisition further cements REV Media Group’s market dominance, strengthening its position in the Malay digital space. Between 2024 and today, Vocket has seen its unique readers climb to 1.4 million, monthly pageviews to 68.5 million, and its social media following to over 758,000, solidifying its role as a hub for football fanatics, hobbyists, and young Malaysians keen on travel, finance, and style. Its audience is majority male (57%), with a strong base among millennials aged 25–34 (41%) and 35–44 (34%) ; reflecting Malaysia’s digital-first generation.
