The Electric Vehicle (EV) Movement Gets A Major Boost
In a game-changing collaboration, Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) and Perodua are joining forces to make EV adoption more accessible, convenient, and sustainable for Malaysians.
The partnership kicks off with the installation of electron charging stations at selected Perodua outlets, ensuring that EV owners can power up with ease.
TNB and Perodua are taking a bold step toward a cleaner, greener future by integrating solar panel infrastructure at Perodua’s facilities—drastically cutting operational costs while harnessing renewable energy.
The two industry giants are also working to enhance the entire renewable energy ecosystem, extending sustainability efforts to Perodua’s vendors and dealers.
Plus, with Malaysia Renewable Energy Certificate (mREC) adoption, Perodua is set to make significant strides in reducing carbon emissions.
“EV adoption is no longer a distant dream—it’s happening now,” said TNB CEO Datuk Ir. Megat Jalaluddin Megat Hassan.
Perodua CEO Dato’ Sri Zainal Abidin Ahmad highlighted the importance of partnerships in accelerating innovation, stating that this move ensures EVs become more accessible, affordable, and convenient for all Malaysians.
With TNB and Perodua driving this electrifying shift, the future of Malaysia’s EV revolution has never looked brighter!
