With over 20 years in the Malaysian entertainment industry, Norsalvina Alwee has played a key role in shaping the local cinema landscape. Starting as an intern at Astro Shaw Tayangan Unggul in 2004, she now leads as Head of Brand and Film Distribution at Astro Shaw.
From those early beginnings, Norsalvina has steadily climbed the ranks, demonstrating a deep understanding of audience preferences and a strategic approach to film marketing and distribution that ensures films reach the right audiences across platforms.
Her expertise has been instrumental in the success of several box office hits including Sheriff: Narko Integriti, the No.1 Malaysian film of 2024, Hantu Kak Limah, the No.1 local horror comedy franchise of all time, and the Polis Evo franchise, Malaysia’s top action film series.
Under her leadership, The Experts campaign broke away from conventional advertising, focusing on experiential activations and strategic brand partnerships with Calpis that resulted in a wider audience and long-term brand loyalty for The Experts.
Through her efforts, she aims to continue contributing to the growth and sustainability of Malaysian cinema while adapting to the evolving media landscape.

Norsalvina will be celebrating her latest career milestone at the Malaysian CMO Awards 2024 Discovery Edition on April 25 in a special Induction Ceremony at the exclusive Malaysian Petroleum Club, and joined by over 40 celebrated marketing leaders in Malaysia.
