Strategic Homecoming Signals Havas’ Commitment to its Integration-Focused Converged Strategy
In a pivotal move to accelerate its regional growth, Havas Media Network has appointed industry veteran Pankaj Nayak as CEO of Singapore operations and President of Southeast Asia, leveraging his extensive experience to drive the network’s ambitious expansion plans.
Nayak returns to Havas after a successful stint as Managing Director of Dentsu International’s Media group in Singapore, where he spent nearly four years strengthening the agency’s capabilities across performance marketing, commerce, and data analytics.
His appointment marks a strategic homecoming, having previously served as Regional Director during Havas’ Euro RSCG era.
Converged Strategy Takes Centre Stage
The appointment signals Havas’ commitment to its innovative Converged Strategy across Southeast Asia.
This integration-focused approach aims to break down traditional silos by seamlessly merging talent, platforms, and expertise to deliver comprehensive solutions for clients in the region’s dynamic markets.
“I am excited to return to Havas at a pivotal time for the region,” says Nayak.
“The Converged Strategy, coupled with Southeast Asia’s growth potential, presents a unique opportunity to deliver integrated solutions that address evolving client needs.”
Ambitious Growth Agenda
In his new role, Nayak will spearhead the expansion of Havas Media Network’s core offerings, including Havas Play (activation), Havas Market (commerce), and CSA (data & tech).
His mandate extends to pursuing strategic partnerships and acquisitions to enhance the agency’s regional capabilities.
Rana Barua, Group CEO for Havas India, Southeast Asia, and North Asia, highlights the strategic importance of the appointment: “Asia’s diverse and rapidly evolving markets require a leader who understands the complexities and nuances of each country. Pankaj’s deep regional experience and proven ability to drive growth for global clients make him the ideal person to lead our Southeast Asia operations.”
With over 25 years of industry experience and a proven track record in driving innovation across major networks, Nayak is well-positioned to lead Havas Media Network’s next phase of growth in Southeast Asia’s competitive media landscape.
