Ampersand Advisory has appointed Mawarni Adam as its new Senior Consultant, effective 5 May 2025. She brings a wealth of experience from both client and consulting roles across industries including insurance, tech, and FMCG.
Mawarni was most recently with Toyota Malaysia, where she led strategic brand management for a year. Prior to Toyota, she held leadership roles at Sompo Holdings, Berjaya Sompo, and founded branding consultancy M Consulting Asia, later rebranded as Marqetr, a female-first content and marketing company.
Her diverse ventures — Lemonada, Pantsuits Collective, and MawarniAdam.com — reflect her passion for entrepreneurship, tech-based solutions, and empowering women. She also previously worked with Dow, McCann Worldgroup, BIG Loyalty, Tune Protect, and Citibank.
In her new role, Mawarni draws on her hybrid background background in startups, SMEs, and multinationals to support clients in brand transformation, marketing strategy, and innovation,
Her appointment follows a trend of senior marketing talent returning to the consultancy space, amid growing demand for experienced brand advisors.
