LEGO and Shopee Malaysia Inspire Families to “Bina Bersama, Cipta Cerita”

LEGO has partnered with Shopee Malaysia to launch the “Bina Bersama, Cipta Cerita” campaign, a nationwide initiative that celebrates creativity, imagination, and togetherness.

At its core, the campaign is about more than just assembling bricks. It’s a call for Malaysians to build without boundaries — to create stories, moments, and memories that bring families and friends closer together.

Play Without Pressure

The campaign draws on insights from a global LEGO survey, which found that while most parents want their children to build more often, many children feel pressure to create something “perfect.” “Bina Bersama, Cipta Cerita” flips that narrative, encouraging Malaysians to let go of self-doubt and rediscover the joy of play.

Across the country, creators have responded in surprising ways — from a family in Sabah reimagining Mount Kinabalu in miniature, to friends in Sarawak celebrating Kuching with LEGO-built cats. Each creation reflects not just a structure, but a story of identity and connection.

Timed with Malaysia Day celebrations, the campaign has become a platform for families and communities to express what their home states mean to them.
