Dutch Lady Milk Industries (DLMI) has appointed Yashashri Vatve as its new marketing director for Malaysia, following the departure of Imun Lim at the end of 2025.
Vatve took up the role in January and reports to Veronika Utami, managing director of DLMI. She joins the dairy company from L’Oréal Malaysia, where she served as marketing director for more than two and a half years.
She brings extensive FMCG and brand leadership experience, having spent over 15 years with Nestlé India. Vatve began her career there as a management trainee before progressing to manage key MAGGI portfolios. She later became category marketing manager for NESCAFÉ and subsequently relocated to Malaysia, where she led market business strategy for MAGGI special projects before heading marketing and digital for the instant noodles category.
Vatve succeeds Imun Lim, who spent three and a half years with DLMI after joining in July 2022. Prior to Dutch Lady, Lim was commercial and marketing director at Arnott’s Group Malaysia. Her earlier career includes more than four years at Munchy’s as general manager for marketing and two and a half years at Samsung Electronics, where she led digital appliances marketing.
DLMI is the Malaysian operating company of FrieslandCampina and manages a broad portfolio of dairy products including Dutch Lady children’s milk, Friso Gold formula, ready-to-drink milk and professional dairy solutions for the foodservice industry.
The leadership change comes amid broader developments across FrieslandCampina’s regional and global operations. In September 2025, the group appointed Publicis Media as its global integrated media agency for strategic planning and buying across its subsidiary brands.
In Malaysia, FrieslandCampina has also seen recent senior leadership changes, including the departure of Bastiaan de Clercq in March 2025 after more than 13 years with the group. De Clercq previously served as head of digital and media for Dutch Lady Malaysia before moving on to a regional leadership role in the foodservice sector.
