NealMediacomSix years ago industry veteran Neal Estavillo made a switch in industries which he does not regret.

The former MD for JWT and now former MediaCom MD shared with MARKETING, “Moving from the Creative industry to Media was a risk, but it was well worth it,”

The 6 years spent at the agency according to Neal was great, from seeing the agency grow from 19 to 50 people strong to winning major accounts including P&G, Coca-Cola, Fonterra, Sunway and Celcom

“But it’s time. I’m hoping to do something else that’s just as challenging, but new. The next step is still unclear, but I will see all of you again in the near future. That part I’m sure.”

Neal added that he is currently considering a few options within Malaysia.

On his thoughts for the New Year Neal shared, “2017 will reveal the champions vs the nots. The competition for digital mastery has accelerated.”

“Today’s seeming leaders may not be so by the end of the year. Whoever takes the helm will have done so with the intelligent use of data for real conversion, and the seamlessness of content and channel. We all know this. But whoever executes it first, and well, will win.”
