Mindshare nabs Themed Attractions regional media business

 

Malaysia’s leading leisure and tourism group, Themed Attractions Resorts & Hotels (TAR&H) has appointed Mindshare as its media agency following a competitive pitch.

Back in May MARKETING broke the news on the pitch when Philip Whittaker, Chief Commercial Officer and Acting Chief Executive Officer of Integrated Theme Parks & Attractions (ITPA), TAR&H shared that four agencies was pitching for the account which covers its business regionally.

Mindshare will work with the TAR&H team as it leads media agency for media development strategy, planning and implementation within Malaysia, Singapore and the region.

“We are looking forward to this partnership with Mindshare and are confident that together, we can strategically market TAR&H ‘s diverse portfolio in an impactful way which will elevate our destination positioning,” Philip shared.

Cindy Chia, Managing Director of Mindshare Malaysia, added: “We are very proud to be TAR&H’s partner to promote the leisure and tourism industry of Malaysia through its world-class hotels, resorts, golf courses and attractions”.

Included in the assignment are TAR&H’s portfolio such as the most anticipated new destination in Malaysia; Desaru Coast, KidZania Kuala Lumpur, KidZania Singapore, Puteri Harbour Retail Precinct , SANRIO HELLO KITTY TOWN, Thomas Town, The Datai Langkawi and The Els Club Malaysia.

The appointment is effective 22 May 2017.
