The new Strongbow celebrates with Malaysians after dark

(marketingmagazine.com.my) – Based on the insight that Malaysians clock some of the longest working hours in the world Heineken Malaysia Berhad together with Ogilvy & Mather Malaysia created a campaign to reach out to hardworking urbanites.

In promoting the brand’s new Strongbow Apple Ciders Dark Fruit the brand launched a new film ‘Strongbow Nature Remix Lab presents: Dark Fruit Lights The Night’ to illustrates how every sip of Strongbow Apple Ciders Dark Fruit enables Malaysians to enjoy the sunset, regardless of day or night.

The 1-minute film captured in Kuala Lumpur depicts a collaboration with eight young Malaysians who helped to power a circular shaped structure using solar panels, representing the dusk of sun at a rooftop. The film ends with the installation being fully lit that evening, with young Malaysians savouring the sunset they normally miss, whilst enjoying the new Strongbow variant.

In conjunction with the launch of the Strongbow Apple Ciders Dark Fruit, we worked with Ogilvy & Mather in a creative initiative enabling Malaysians to enjoy Strongbow’s latest Apple Cider during the golden hour,” said Loh Ee Lin, Marketing Manager, Heineken & Global Brands at Heineken Malaysia Berhad.
