Media Prima Labs has launched its new online portal, MyGameOn, that provides news, reviews and events for games, featuring local and international content.
The launch was held at the recent Level Up 2017 event, an initiative under MDEC to drive the growth of games industry in Malaysia and South-East Asia.
MyGameOn is a comprehensive local game news portal that focuses on relevant game content for Malaysian audiences.
It targets urban and sub-urban customers ranging from 12 to 25 years old who love gaming and wish to stay up-to-date on the latest trend or news related to games and game tournaments.
Apart from live streaming of all the latest games and tournaments, events that focus on local developments, indie developers, meet ups, e-game tournaments and leagues will be featured on MyGameOn.
“We are excited to launch this and also hope it will be a place to expose more young and talented developers and expand their expertise and interests in the game development industry,” said Nicholas Sagau, Group General Manager of Media Prima Labs.
With the increasing demand for mobile applications and games, Media Prima Group established Media Prima Labs (MP Labs).
MP Labs has to-date leveraged and successfully developed products based on the Group’s intellectual properties, such as Jalan-Jalan Cari Makan, Harian Metro Mountain Bike Grand Prix, Ejen Ali and more.
