Home-shopping is something many believe will fade away with time; after all, the platform – of course, the ubiquitous television – has lost its crown to video streaming services.
Unsurprisingly, those plying their trade on this evergreen service are making the switch over to digital; think mobile commerce and e-commerce. While most will likely wonder about the driving factors, progressive merchants will shoot back: “Why not?”
CJ WOW SHOP hit a milestone last September as it surpassed the one million registered customers mark in 888 days of its operations. Launched in 2016, CJ WOW SHOP has become one of the biggest revenue generators for Media Prima in a short two-year period. For its financial year ended Dec 31, 2017 (FY2017), the segment recorded RM129.5 million in revenue, more than double that of the preceding year.
