Ensemble shines as the only Malaysian agency awarded at the WARC Awards

Ensemble the unit under IPG Mediabrands Malaysia has been awarded the coveted gold award at the inaugural 2017 WARC Awards, a new global competition honouring the effective use of emerging marketing disciplines.

Awarded Gold in the Effective Content Strategy category was the campaign done for KFC Malaysia, other winning brands in the category include Knorr, MS Limited Australia and Lockheed Martin.

KFC Malaysia’s Gold winning entry by UM Malaysia/Ensemble, employed programmatic technology to create and distribute content to millennials to launch its Hot and Cheezy burger in Malaysia.


Charles Baker, Strategy Director, Hearts & BBDO, who was on the judging panel commented on the campaign, “McDonald’s is the king of burgers so for KFC to make something enduring that could be fun for kids is smart. It builds preference and repeat visits.”

Commenting on the win Amit Sutha, Managing Director of Ensemble Worldwide shared, “We are thrilled to be recognized by WARC and that too in the competitive Effective Content Strategy category.
