Dugro Buddies are back! Aiming to continue championing original branded edutainment, and to assist parents with instilling positive values within their children, Dumex Dugro, in close partnership with Rouge by Entropia, has introduced brand new videos to its Dumex Dugro musical series titled “Kisah Dugro Buddies” (The Tales of Dugro Buddies).
The highly-entertaining series first entered the YouTube world in March 2019 and introduced five adorable #DugroBuddies characters: Aiden the Leader, Jolly Jane, Big Sis Sussie, Brainy Ben and Kosmo, the cat, sharing the core values of Sharing, Caring and Honesty through three 60-second episodes.
Now, the newly released videos, which are a continuation of the series, set the same tone in exploring different positive values that children can learn from, this time focusing on scenarios that display Curiosity, Bravery and Gratitude (Don’t Waste).
In Gratitude, Jane and Sussie teach their friends not to waste food and show their appreciation; Bravery shows Aiden fearlessly overcoming stage fright and saving Kosmo; and in Curiosity, the characters all ask their teacher questions about the animals during a visit to the zoo.
Samantha Tay, Principal at Entropia Rouge commented, “The creative team at Entropia Rouge truly channelled their inner child with this Dumex Dugro campaign, knowing that we’ll not only entertain kids, but also educate moms on fun ways they can motivate their children to adopt these core values.
Dugro Buddies undoubtedly resonated with kids when the musical series first launched earlier this year, so we intended to continue spreading their positive energy with the second leg of the campaign. We are elated with the results of the Curiosity, Bravery and Gratitude videos.”
And following the success of the first series, parents were quick to show their delight once again – this time, the videos amassed close to 10 million views since its launch in September, with impressive performance numbers in the first 10 days: 1.5 million for Curiosity; 2.5 million for Bravery; and 2.4 million for Gratitude.
A fourth video, which is a compilation of all six Dugro Buddies videos, will be released shortly.
Quah YeVian, Senior Marketing Manager at Danone, said, “Dugro’s main aim has always been to give mothers peace of mind, knowing their kids get the essential nutrients they need for growth.
“And with this campaign, keeping in mind the myriad content available online, we wanted to ensure kids take away valuable lessons, and simultaneously receive education like counting, memory testing, and so much more to benefit their lives. We are pleased to work with Entropia Rouge again to give a facelift to this second series of Dugro Buddies with more education elements.”
The main objective of the series was to support the current Dumex Dugro consumer promotion of Dugro Bag On-the-go and the Dugro EcoMeal Set, which both ensure children’s items are easily stored for transport everywhere!
