Pioneering the Future of Out-of-Home Advertising
Billups’ revamped leadership lineup features industry stalwarts with impressive track records.
Ranganathan Somanathan—affectionately known as Ranga—joins the agency with a rich history of leadership at Publicis Media and Omnicom Media Group in Malaysia and Singapore.
Based in Singapore, Ranga’s mission is to harness his expertise to align client services, product development, and marketing to maximise the adoption of Billups’ patented IP and OOH measurement solutions.
“The global OOH landscape presents immense opportunities for innovation,” Ranga shared.
“I’m thrilled to join Billups in driving meaningful improvements in brand performance and preference worldwide.”
A Vision of Leadership Excellence
Jaime Byrdak’s elevation to CEO, North America, comes after more than six years of dedicated service at Billups, where she led OOH media teams and spearheaded key initiatives.
Recognised as one of the top women in OOH, Jaime’s new role will focus on enhancing client growth, retention, and service expansion across the North American market.
Meanwhile, Dave Williams, who joined Billups in 2022, assumes the role of Global Head of Commercial & Investment.
His experience in launching commercial operations in EMEA has solidified Billups’ presence in new markets.
Williams’ expanded responsibilities include optimising supply-side buying practices and delivering value for advertisers globally.
Tony Stoering, a longtime collaborator whose agency Heed was acquired by Billups in 2015, will now lead as Global Head of Client Development.
Stoering’s focus will be on scaling client services and ensuring seamless deployment of global resources.
Driving Growth Through Innovation
Under the guidance of Global CEO David Krupp, Billups has seen remarkable progress, with a 132% gross revenue growth since 2021.
Strategic acquisitions of Outsight, TAC Media, OOH Labs, Billie Media, and MediaBridge Global have propelled the agency’s global footprint, enabling it to operate across North America, EMEA, APAC, Australia, and New Zealand.
“2025 will be a transformative year for Billups,” Krupp remarked.
“Our investments in technology, products, and talent reaffirm our vision of delivering amazing results and moving the world for our clients.”
A Global Vision for OOH Excellence
With its enhanced leadership team, Billups aims to integrate innovation in attention measurement, sustainability, and accountability into its OOH services.
The team will drive cross-border client initiatives, expand strategic planning processes, and redefine the role of OOH in the digital economy.
As Billups continues its ascent as a global leader, the agency’s strengthened foundation underscores its mission to “deliver amazing” for clients, creating value and verified results in the evolving advertising landscape.
By aligning expertise with technology and a human-centric approach, Billups is set to transform the OOH industry.
