AirAsia BIG Loyalty kicks off 10th anniversary with in-app game

AirAsia BIG Loyalty enters its 10th year of operation in 2020 and launches the “Points Catcher” game on the AirAsia BIG mobile app to reward its 25 million BIG Members.

As a start, in conjunction with the upcoming Chinese New Year, AirAsia BIG is giving away over 6 million BIG Points from now till CNY eve on 24th January 2020.

During this period, BIG Members can log in to the AirAsia BIG mobile app to play the game which is inspired by the claw machine – players need to manoeuvre the claw and pick a mandarin orange emoticon that contains various denominations of BIG Points with the highest being 888 BIG Points.

BIG Members are encouraged to log in to the game every day during the 10-day campaign period as there is a daily BIG Points multiplier in the game which will increase and multiply the BIG Points won on that particular day. Level of multiplier increases every day when members log in consecutively and play every day.

AirAsia BIG Loyalty was incorporated in December 2010 and is owned and operated by BIGLIFE Sdn Bhd. Started as an airline loyalty programme for AirAsia, today AirAsia BIG Loyalty has grown into a comprehensive lifestyle platform that goes beyond just flights.

With over 300 partners across lifestyle, travel and financial services categories, BIG Members can earn BIG Points from a great variety of brands; and use them to redeem AirAsia flights, pay for AirAsia bookings and redeem partners’ deals for greater savings and rewards.

The AirAsia BIG Loyalty programme now averages 700,000 new sign-ups per month, with the top six markets with the largest member bases being Malaysia (4 million members), China (3.3 million), Thailand (2.6 million), India (1.4 million), Philippines (1.4 million) and Indonesia (1.3 million).
