Badminton legends Rashid Sidek and Foo Kok Keong will star in Petronas’ latest National Day and Malaysia Day campaign.
The campaign will showcase a special exhibition entitled “Julang”, at Galeri Petronas and a web film titled, “Piala Taman Thomas” where Rashid Sidek and Foo Kok Keong talk about the essence and values of teamwork and perseverance for a better Malaysia. The four-minute film is directed by Ismail Kamarul.
The heartwarming ad launched this Wednesday on Petronas Facebook page has been viewed over 470,000 times.
The campaign also infuses Petronas’ 43-year journey in developing Malaysia’s oil and gas sector and its contributions towards helping improve the well-being of Malaysians.
“For Petronas, as the custodian of the nation’s hydrocarbon resources, the translation of this vision has been the cornerstone of all that we have done over the last 43 years, with remarkable outcome.
“This is what the exhibition – Julang, has so eloquently captured,” said Tan Sri Sidek Hassan at the launch of the campaign at the Petronas Twin Towers.
The exhibition — which began on Tuesday and will run until September 17 — is housed at Galeri Petronas in Suria KLCC, will take visitors on a visual tour of Petronas’ journey from its early days as oil and gas regulators, its expansion into upstream and downstream businesses locally and abroad as well as its contribution towards nation-building.
