NIVEA MEN’s MYPadang returns for a third season with the male grooming brand teaming up with stars from the Harimau Malaysia team, Baddrol Bakhtiar and Zaquan Adha to mentor local football teams from around Malaysia.
In an on-going effort to promote grassroots football, MYPadang provides neighborhood teams an opportunity to showcase their talent, improve their skills and build their confidence both on and off the pitch. In its previous seasons, MYPadang has drawn support from Malaysian football legend Datuk Soh Chin Aun and national players Syed Adney, K. Rueben, Gary Steven Robbat, and Stanley Bernard to groom grassroots players.
“We’re excited to have NIVEA MEN’s MYPadang continue its goal of elevating Malaysian grassroots football. NIVEA MEN believes in giving men the right start and confidence to face every day challenges, on and off the field. It’s a platform we’re proud to support, to help these teams unlock their potential and bring their game to the next level,” said Ng Hock Guan, Beiersdorf Malaysia’s Country Manager.
In this latest instalment of the campaign created by FCB Kuala Lumpur, Nivea’s creative agency, nineteen teams qualified for the opportunity to be coached under #MYPADANGBADDROL or #MYPADANGZAQUAN with each respective Harimau Malaysia star mentoring and providing guidance leading up to a head-to-head match with RM10,000 worth of cash and NIVEA products to be won as well as a chance to be featured on TV during Media Prima’s TV3 and TV9 airing of the Malaysian FA Cup and Super League matches.
Natasha Aziz, Head of Account Management for FCB KL added, “This campaign is a bit of a passion project. It’s always great to work with passionate people whether they passionately play, coach or support football regardless of league or status. Even in its third year, we’re finding bigger ways of supporting the football culture in Malaysia because there’s a genuine passion to want the sport to do better.”
