Leo Burnett’s Petronas National Day advertisement, “Tan Hon Ming” has added yet another prestigious award to its already very impressive collection of industry accolades. The latest win for the lovable TV commercial has bagged the Gold award for the CLIO People’s Choice Awards, the world’s most recognized awards competition for advertising, design and interactive.
To date, the TV commercial has won a total of 26 local and international awards making it the 5th most awarded film in the world according to The Gunn Report. Among its other achievements are winning Awards at the 2008 Asia Pacific Festival in Thailand (Adfest 2008) and winning two Gold awards for Best Television Commercial and Best Film Direction at the 29th Kancil Awards Festival last year.
