DiGi Retains Naga DDB, Adds Havas To Roster

(Marketingmagazine.com.my) - Following the completion of a robust, organisation-wide transformation programme, DiGi embarked on a process to select the right creative agency to work with us in developing our brand through our next phase of our growth, and as we move deeper into executing on our mission to deliver 'Internet For All'.

Over the past few months, DiGi conducted an exhaustive creative agency RFP (request for proposal) process; this was in fact the second time this process was run this year, in the interest of appointing the right partner in a highly competitive and fast-changing marketplace.

Five international agencies were invited to participate in this process. These included the incumbents Naga DDB and TBWA, together with Grey, McCann-Erickson and Havas.

After weeks of deliberation, DiGi announced that Naga DDB has emerged as the preferred agency for DiGi, and will be retained as the agency on record.

Havas is now included into the roster: for corporate brand duties.

"We thank all the agencies who participated in this process for their extremely high quality work, and for their patience. In this same vein, we congratulate Naga and Havas for their win!"

MARKETING managed to scope out Andrew Lee; the leader helming Havas, to share his feelings on the victory, "I am overwhelmed. Winning as a dark horse is truly satisfying. Amazing is all I can describe it right now", he said.

Looking ahead, Andrew went on to say, "We believe this is the start of a great partnership. We are true believers of collaboration and working with DiGi will be the platform to showcase our belief system".

Sharing in celebration with his team, Andrew added, "I will give thanks to the team who worked tirelessly on the pitch including various the network. This is truly a network win".
