We’re glad to work with Amphibia to reach out and to engage the current music lovers who are active on the internet including the social network channels.”
To kick-start this initiative, Sony Music Entertainment Malaysia and Amphibia Digital have created a Facebook campaign promoting Avril Lavigne’s new album “Goodbye Lullaby”, featuring her latest single “What The Hell”.
Titled “What The Hell Is Your Talent??!”, this Facebook campaign provides a platform for Avril’s Malaysian fans to express themselves and show-off their Avril inspired talent. Fans can showcase their talents whether it’s singing, dancing or playing a musical instrument to any Avril Lavigne songs by submitting videos of themselves to the “What The Hell Is Your Talent ??!” application- http://apps.facebook.com/wth_avril/. These videos are then voted by fans in various categories - Jaw Dropping Video, Goose-Bumpery Voice, Amazing All-Round Talent, Most Authentic Cosplay - by other fans and a panel of judges.
Prizes up for grabs include an iPad, Sony Walkman 4GB Media Player, Sony DJ Remix Headphones and imported Avril Lavigne merchandise. The campaign will run until 17th April and voting will end on 22nd April, creating buzz and hype for Avril’s latest album.
This is only the beginning as Sony Music Entertainment Malaysia fans can look forward to even more exciting digital initiatives in the near future.
