The new models were unveiled by Indonesian President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono. Also present were top Proton officials, Chairman Mohammed Azlan Hashim and managing director Syed Zainal Abidin Syed Mohamed Tahir. Also present Malaysian Ambassador to Indonesia Datuk Zainal Abidin Mohamed Zain.
"We are confident that the four-door sedan Waja and three-door hatchback Neo will offer the Indonesian market further options in terms of high quality cars at competitive prices," said Proton Chairman, Mohammed Azlan Hashim.
Proton said the two models, the three-door hatchback Satria and the four-door family sedan Waja, are priced competitively.
