(marketingmagazine.com.my) – When TGV Cinemas premiered Dr Strange on 28th October 2016, viewers were stunned by the latest 3D projections by VisualRetale.

Today’s consumer has increasingly shorter attention spans; communications need to be fast and furious. VisualRetale , Redberry Ambient and TGV will be providing advertisers with THE media to do so – a 3D wall medium network in 16 TGV Cinemas which will go live 5th January 2017.

“It’s a media that floats and stings – the first in the region too!,” Sailendra, CEO of VisualRetale shared.

Every loop will be limited to 12 concurrent advertisers; each advertiser gets 240 spots daily per projector. The network of 53 projectors will generate up to 12,720 unique spots daily per advertiser at TGV Cinemas which include 1Utama, Sunway Pyramid, KLCC, Wangsa Walk, Setia Walk, Kepong, Cheras Selatan, Velocity, Rawang, Bukit Tinggi Klang, Bukit Raja Klang, Station 18 Ipoh, 1st Avenue Penang, Bukit Indah JB, Tebrau JB and Vivacity Kuching.

Positioned at Foyers, Snack Counters and Hall Entrances past ticketing, this media platform will be reaching at estimated admissions of over 14 million cinema-goers. Booking is open now and promotional rates apply until mid-December 2016.

This is not the first time the three companies have collaborated in bringing new and innovative media solutions. In August this year Visual Retale, Redberry Ambient and TGV Cinemas has brought 3D advertising to the next level by showcasing moving interactive content on the floor.

TGV is one of the largest cinema operators in Malaysia and currently operates in 32 high traffic locations nationwide. It saw more than 22 million admissions last year in its network which included 244 halls with a full capacity of 42,294 seats. A whopping 67% of TGV cinemagoers last year were between the ages of 20 and 29.

Visual Retale is an MSC Status Media Technology Company deploying its 3D Anamorphic Projections at high footfall locations. The business owns patents for this in multiple markets and is currently supported by the Government of Malaysia to develop adjacent technologies also for use in advertising. The technology can be deployed in public areas and can be applied to both horizontal and vertical surfaces. Visual Retale is currently exploring various other media formats.
