Acer moves from Starcom to UM Malaysia

(marketingmagazine.com.my) – UM Malaysia has won the media business for Acer from incumbent Starcom Mediavest.

The agency will be tasked to carry out work across traditional and digital media including radio, print, digital and out-of- home.

Commenting on the win Amit Sutha, Managing Director UM and Ensemble Worldwide said, “We are humbled that Acer has chosen to work with UM. He added, “There are two shared beliefs that made this match possible. Two, brands today are not built on buying mass reach, but by orchestrating intimate relationships with consumers.”

The team officially took over the business from August 1st for a 12 month contract focusing on new product launches and driving product sales.
