3.6 million video views for ERA DMA 2017

Local contemporary Malay radio brand, ERA has recently held its second digital music award – ERA Digital Music Awards (ERA DMA). The one-of-a-kind award show hosted by renowned comedian Nabil Ahmed, is targeted at digital natives who are key to the brand. ERA DMA enables fans to watch the show on devices while engaging with others instantly on social media.

The live broadcast on ERA and Rotikaya’s Facebook pages and ERA’s YouTube page received a total of 638K views. ERA also experienced the highest increase of fans on its social media on the award day. During the 3-week period following the live show, the playback of the award show garnered a total of 3.6 million video views on ERA’s social media platforms – 1.4 million on Facebook, 346K on Instagram and 1.9 million on YouTube. The award show also garnered 742K interactions on Facebook and Instagram, along with 9.8 million impressions on Facebook.

ERA is currently identifying potential partners for collaboration to amplify the reach and impact of the next ERA DMA.
